Top Features of Advanced Vape Kits

Advanced Vaping Modes

Modern advanced vaping kits and mods offer a range of vaping modes for the more advanced vapers allowing them more control over the performance and output.

Bypass Mode

Many advanced, intermediate and starter vape kits offer a bypass mode the simplest output mode allowing the user to bypass the wattage and voltage settings using the vape like a tech-mod, where output is determined entirely by the level of charge and power of the battery. Most advanced vape kits have smart controller chips that provide protection even in bypass mode.

Curve Mode

Requiring more experience and input from the user, the curve mode allows more advanced users to map the performance and output of the vape to achieve the perfect vape. By controlling the different stages of performance output, an advanced vaper can set the device to produce an initial hard hit which gradually drops off to offer a smoother hit to finish. For example, from an initial 50W output down to a gentler 40W output.

Pulse Mode

As controller chips have become more intelligent, advanced vape kits now offer more flexibility to the advanced user. The pulse mode uses the chipset to constantly adjust the power output, to ensure that the temperature of the coil never exceeds the limit set by the user. By using pulse mode, advanced vapers can set the heat produced by the coil to produce the perfect vape experience for flavour and/or cloud production.

TC - Temperature Control

Probably the most basic of the advanced modes, temperature control, was seen on some early advanced mods. TC mode is best suited to Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel coils, allowing the user to set the maximum temperature for the coil to achieve the best results.

VW - Voltage & Wattage

Offering the user complete control over power output, the voltage and wattage mode requires a good understanding of physics, namely Ohm's law, to achieve the best results using this mode. VW is usually controlled by the internal smart chip on most devices when the user inserts the coil or selects their preferred wattage output. Many advanced mods and vape kits will allow the user to override these settings in this mode.

How to choose a subohm kit video

Direct to Lung: Sub-Ohm Vaping

Sub-Ohm vaping is a specific style of vaping associated with advanced vape kits that use coils with a resistance below 1 ohm. Lower resistance allows the device to produce more vapour and deliver a stronger, richer flavour. Sub-Ohm vaping is ideal for those who enjoy creating large clouds and prefer a more intense vaping experience. It usually involves using high-powered mods and e-liquids with lower nicotine content, as the vapour production is much greater.

Summary

Advanced vape kits offer customisable features for a tailored experience, while sub-Ohm vaping focuses on producing bigger clouds and enhanced flavours. These setups are typically used by vapers seeking more control and intensity in their sessions.
