Why is it called Black Friday?

Originally an American tradition, Black Friday has evolved into one of the year's major shopping events worldwide. It originated as a Thanksgiving sale, offering substantial discounts on products in anticipation of Christmas. The term 'Black Friday' is derived from the moment when stores transition from being in the red (loss) into the black (profit) in their accounts.

When does Black Friday start?

Black Friday starts on the last Friday of November each year. This year Black Friday starts on Friday 29th, November 2024, which follows the US Thanksgiving holiday. However, on Vampire Vape, we'll be featuring Black Friday promotions between 15th November and 30th November.
